I am still so starstrucked over Freddie Highmore!!!!!!! His acting was so believable, I'm tellin' ya. I love the story, the characters, and the whole concept of the movie. Gavin Wiesen did a marvelous job. I don't know why this movie is so slammed down by the critics. Sure, the story was pretty predictable, but still, it's a beautiful story. Totally relatable to nowadays life. Emma Roberts' acting, I wasn't very impressed, though. I considered it too flat. Freddie Highmore, on the other hands, was the definiton of "Oh My God"! He's amazing. Love him even more than before! Some awesome quotes can also be picked up from the movie. All in all, The Art Of Getting By is a glorious film. I enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoyed every minute of seeing Freddie Highmore all grown up and being super duper hot, to be exact.
Teacher: Do you have your work, George?
George: No.
Teacher: Why not?
George: Everything seems meaningless. Including this assignment, ma'am, unfortunately.
Sally: I have fears but I thought they were pretty run-of-the-mill: pain, death.
George: Not me, I fear life.
Sally: Are you okay?
George: I'm allergic to hormones.
Sally: What hormones?
George: Mine.
Dustin: You and George should be together, Sally.
Sally: We're just friends.
Dustin: There's no such thing.
George: He told me he was gonna leave it alone.
Sally: You told him we weren't together!
George: What should I have said?
Sally: What did you wanna say?
George: And there you go with the mind games. You treacherous, sadistic, little hussy.
Sally: George! There was nothing between us.
*George stops*
Sally: I'm sorry.
George: You know what? I gotta go. I have to do a year's worth of homework or I don't graduate.
Sally: What?
George: Have fun with Dustin.
*George walks away*
George: So pleased to have made the introduction.
George: I'm in love with you, I always have been. I thought you were the unfair one, but it was unfair of me not to say it.
Sally: You know we're going to be together one day, we just have to sort through all of our messed up issues first, and you have a lot of girls to sleep with to get out of your system.
George: *chuckle* You treacherous, sadistic, little hussy.
Sally: *giggle*
